But then comes the negative effects of marijuana, which include confusion, acute panic reactions, anxiety attacks, fear, a sense of helplessness, and loss of self-control. When you get addicted to the substance, the chances are that you will develop a motivational syndrome characterized by passivity, decreased motivation, and preoccupation with taking drugs.
