I believe that people do need to be made aware of them, especially if they know someone who happens to be a marijuana addict. That’s why I want to take a second and talk to you about some of those symptoms.

1. Slowness.

When under the influence, you typically have an increased reaction time. Some marijuana users claim to be “in the zone” and that this doesn’t affect them. What happens when you are in the wrong zone while driving or at work?

2. Reduced Sperm Count.

Research shows that marijuana reduces the sperm count in males very drastically which causes them to be practically unable to have children. I am not trying to say that they are completely infertile. Marijuana also increases the level on estrogen in men – which can lead to gynecomastia (male breasts).

3. Not good for the lungs.

This is obvious, but still, I wanted to mention this. After all, the smoker inhales smoke which will collect in the lungs and be exhaled. That can cause to serious diseases such as heart attacks or even cancer. Definitely not worth it. Have you noticed how often you get colds, or that your nose is often stuffed up?

4. Increased blood pressure.

Abusing marijuana will most likely increase the blood pressure and the frequency of the heart beat rate dramatically. Hypertension can be serious and can aggravate existing conditions.

Marijuana physical side effects are a reality and we should not forget about them. Even though the drug is mostly dangerous psychologically, the physical aspect of smoking pot can not be overlooked.
